Emphasis on the localization of the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) and the development of contemporary jurisprudence in the provinces

A meeting was held between the Imamate Foundation and the research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies

A joint meeting of the officials of the Imamate Foundation and the Center for Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies discussed: From the development of educational levels in 15 provinces to the unveiling of a comprehensive portal for contemporary jurisprudence.

A meeting attended by Hujjat al-lslam wa al-Muslimin Muhammad Taqi Subhani, Director of the Imamate and Teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) Foundation, and an accompanying delegation including Hujjat al-lslam lsfandiari, Deputy for Education, and Hujjat al-lslam Sabzevari, Deputy for Culture of the Foundation, with the participation of a group of officials of the Center for Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies, a comprehensive report on educational, research, and cultural achievements was presented. At this meeting, the importance of training local human resources, localization of the issue of Imamate, and the expansion of scientific activities in the field of contemporary jurisprudence were emphasized.

In a meeting attended by Hujjat al-lslam wa al-Muslimin Muhammad Taqi Subhani, Director of the Imamate and Education Foundation of the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) and an accompanying delegation including Hujjat al-lslam wa al-Muslimin lsfandiari, Deputy Cultural Director of the Foundation, along with a group of officials from the Center for Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies, a report was presented on the educational, research, and cultural activities of these institutions.

Referring to the educational activities of the foundation in Gulestan province, lran over the past seven years, Hujjat al-lslam Wa al-Muslimin lsfandiari spoke about the establishment and development of levels three and four of Imamate and Theology with the support of Ayatullah Sayyid Kazim Nur Mufidi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Gulestan province, lran, and emphasized the importance of training local specialists in this province. He also mentioned the implementation of similar programs in 15 other provinces.

Next, Hujjat al-lslam Sabzevari, the foundation’s deputy for culture, stated that the foundation’s mission is to localize the issue of Imamate in different segments of society and explained programs such as general and specialized courses on Nahj al-Balagha, training of Ghadir missionaries with a focus on key occasions: Ghadir, Muharram, Fatimah al-Zahra’ and the fifteenth of Sha’ban, and organizing skill-building workshops for students, and specialized meetings on “Revivers of Imamate Culture.”He further stated: The virtual programs for training Ghadir missionaries, which are held in cooperation with the Islamic Propaganda Organization and the Sisters Seminary, are held to enhance the skills of children and adolescents. Although the audience of these programs are students, the target audience is students and adolescents. He also praised the support of Ayatullah Nur Mufidi, the Imam of Friday prayers in Gurgan city, for this foundation and called for strengthening propaganda and cultural programs for the publication and promotion of Gulestan province, lran.

In the international section, he referred to the achievements of the International Congress in Honor of Allamah Mir Hamid Husayn Lucknowi, the author of the book ‘Abaqat al-Anwar fi Imamat al-Aimmat al-Athar, with the aim of rebuilding Shi’i identity in India, and announced the completion of the printing of 11 volumes of the ‘Abaqat al-Anwar collection and planning to publish the remaining 24 volumes. Research in the field of methodology and collecting articles related to the Lucknow school were other themes of his report.

Next, Hujjat al-lslam wa al-Muslimin Subhani, Director of the Imamate and Education Foundation of Ahlul Bayt (‘a), emphasized the importance of investing in seminary human resources in the provinces, especially Gulestan Province, lran. He also referred to the Ahl  al-Bayt Lifestyle Research Group (‘a) and reminded them of the need to pay more attention to the Ahlul Bayt’s (‘a) lifestyle as a source of jurisprudence.

Then, Hujjat al-lslam wa al-Muslimin Durri and Hujjat al-lslam wa al-Muslimin Haqqani from the Center for Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies introduced the activities of this Center. Among the most important achievements were holding scientific meetings to respond to the jurisprudential needs of society, launching the “Comprehensive Contemporary Jurisprudence Portal” including an information site, an encyclopedia of contemporary jurisprudence with more than 500 entries, 26 specialized electronic magazines, a digital library with 26,000 sources, and a site for contemporary jurisprudence courses with a collection of about 10,000 voices from teachers inside and outside islamic iran. The purpose of unveiling the comprehensive portal for contemporary jurisprudence was to facilitate researchers’ access to resources and promote contemporary jurisprudence topics.

At the end of this meeting, Ayatullah S. Mujtaba Nur Mufidi, head of the Center for Contemporary Jurisprudence, praised the activities carried out by the Imamate Foundation and described the head of the Imamate Foundation as thoughtful and diligent in the field and headquarters.

He further emphasized joint cooperation and continuous communication between research centers in order to better enhance and promote Islamic knowledge.
