Scientific Trip of the Research Institute Delegation to Iraq | Third Report
In continuation of the scientific trip of representatives of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence to Iraq, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mostafa Dorri, Vice President and Research Deputy of the Research Institute, and Dr. Moballeghi, Director of International Relations at this research institute, met and held talks with Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Sanad Bahrani, prominent professor of advanced jurisprudence (Bahth al-Kharij) and principles of jurisprudence in the Islamic Seminary of Najaf al-Ashraf.
In this meeting, the capacities, programs, and activities of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence in various fields were introduced, and the most important scientific and research approaches of this institution were outlined.
The professor of advanced jurisprudence and principles of jurisprudence in the Islamic Seminary of Najaf, while expressing appreciation for the activities of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence, evaluated these measures as valuable in responding to emerging issues and developing contemporary jurisprudential studies, emphasizing the necessity of expanding such approaches in Islamic seminaries, especially the Islamic Seminary of Najaf.
He also, pointing to the decisive role of cyberspace in today’s world, considered utilizing this capacity essential in introducing and expanding Shia contemporary thought and jurisprudence in the international arena.
At the conclusion of this meeting, Ayatollah Sanad donated a number of his scholarly works in the field of Contemporary Jurisprudence to the library of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence.
