In an official meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Dorri, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence Studies, accompanied by Hujjat al-Islam Pourmand, met and held talks with Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Sayyid Hashem Milani, Director of the Islamic Centre for Strategic Studies (Al-Markaz al-Islami li-al-Dirasat al-Istratijiyyah) affiliated with the Holy Abbasiyyah Shrine.

This meeting was held at the Qom office of the Holy Abbasiyyah Shrine in the presence of Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Mohsen Mousavi, Director of the Qom office of this center, where avenues for expanding scientific, research, and strategic cooperation between the two institutions were examined. Emphasizing the importance of scientific interactions among research centers in the Islamic world, both sides stressed the necessity of synergy in knowledge production, exchange of scientific experience, and execution of joint research projects.

Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Milani, who traveled from Iraq to Iran, is the primary Director of the Islamic Centre for Strategic Studies affiliated with the Holy Abbasiyyah Shrine in Najaf and also holds responsibility for guiding this center’s activities in Iran and Lebanon. This center is considered among the active institutions in the fields of strategic studies, Islamic thought, and civilizational research in the Islamic world.

In this session, attendees, referring to existing scientific and research capacities in both complexes, emphasized designing executive mechanisms for expanding bilateral cooperation, holding joint specialized sessions, exchange of professors and researchers, and publishing joint scientific works.

This meeting took place in a cordial and academic atmosphere, and both sides expressed hope that with the continuation of such interactions, effective steps will be taken toward strengthening scientific cooperation and elevating the level of jurisprudential and strategic studies in the region.
