Scientific Trip of the Research Institute Delegation to Iraq | Fourth Report
In continuation of the scientific trip of representatives of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence to Iraq, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mostafa Dorri, Vice President and Research Deputy of the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence, met and held talks with Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Abbas Kashif al-Ghita, President of the Kashif al-Ghita Foundation.
In this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dorri, while outlining various arenas of the Research Institute’s activities, explained in detail the approaches of this institution in the field of Contemporary Jurisprudence studies and the scientific efforts undertaken in this domain.
The President of the Kashif al-Ghita Foundation, while presenting a report on the activities of this foundation, proceeded to explain the status and manner of paying attention to Contemporary Jurisprudence discussions in the Islamic Seminary of Najaf al-Ashraf, outlining some of the research conducted in this foundation in the realm of Contemporary Jurisprudence.
Likewise in this meeting, both sides engaged in dialogue regarding expanding bilateral cooperation, and it was decided that necessary preliminaries be provided for concluding a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation between the Research Institute of Contemporary Jurisprudence and the Kashif al-Ghita Foundation.
At the conclusion of this meeting, the dispatched delegation visited the valuable library of this foundation—a precious collection containing ancient manuscripts, including an ancient copy of the Glorious Quran belonging to early centuries and manuscripts of the late Kashif al-Ghita and other scholars of Najaf.
